And with three adventurous dogs (two of whom are seasoned travelers themselves), our love for adventure knows no bounds.

Our journey into the world of outdoor entrepreneurship began during our college years, where we discovered our shared passion for adventures in our “backyard” of Yosemite and Sequoia National Parks. Valerie pursued her love for the outdoors at Fresno State University, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Recreation Administration, while Carlos honed his business acumen with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. Together, we knew that our future lay in merging our expertise to create something truly special within the outdoor industry. Drawing from our diverse backgrounds - Carlos's military service and leadership experience, coupled with Valerie's internships at Yosemite National Park and involvement with non-profits like Adventure Risk Challenge - we are equipped with the skills and determination to make VS Outdoor Co. a success. While our previous adventures involved guiding outdoor expeditions and fostering team bonding, our focus has shifted to offering outdoor gear rental services and adventure-inspired photography.

Though we may not be leading outdoor adventures as frequently, our dedication to sharing our knowledge and passion for the outdoors remains unwavering.
